IRS Releases 2010 Standard Mileage Rates

The following is a recently released update on the 2010 IRS Standard Mileage Rates:

• 2010 Business Mileage Rate = $0.50 per mile (this rate is lower than last year to due to decreased fuel and transportation costs; the breakdown is as follows - fuel, maintenance, insurance, and tags = $0.27 per mile + depreciation = $0.23 per mile)
• 2010 Medical/Moving Mileage Rate = $0.165 per mile
• 2010 Charitable Mileage Rate = $0.14 per mile
